Our Story
Premium flowers, Minnesota roots
From a Love of Flowers
Tulip & Peony Co. started with a simple idea: bring fresh, premium flowers directly to people in the Twin Cities. What began as a passion for growing beautiful blooms in Minnesota's rich soil has grown into a business built on quality, care, and community. We believe everyone deserves access to stunning, locally-grown flowers — whether it's a single bouquet for your kitchen table or hundreds of stems for a grand event.
Grown in Minnesota
Our tulips and peonies are grown right here in Eagan, Minnesota, where cold winters and rich soil create ideal conditions for vibrant, long-lasting blooms. We farm without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers — building healthy soil through composting and cover cropping instead. Every stem is hand-selected and cut at the perfect moment, then shipped within hours.
More Than Just Flowers
We're building a flower company for the modern world. That means nationwide shipping, a growing wholesale program for local businesses, and a peony collection launching late May 2026 with three beloved garden varieties. Whether you're decorating your home, planning a wedding or event, or running a business, we're here to help you bring beauty to every space.
How We Grow
Responsible farming isn’t a marketing label for us. It’s how we’ve grown from day one.
No Synthetic Chemicals
We never use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers on any of our flowers — tulips or peonies. Healthier soil grows healthier blooms.
Cover Crops & Composting
Between growing seasons, we plant cover crops to protect and enrich the soil. We compost on-farm to return nutrients to the ground naturally.
Working With Nature
Our peonies are perennials grown no-till in established beds. Our tulips follow regenerative principles — composted soil, no chemical inputs, and cover-cropped fields between plantings.
What We Stand For
Chemical-Free Growing
No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers — for any of our flowers. We build soil health through composting and cover cropping.
Cut Fresh, Not Stored
Our flowers are cut the morning of shipment and arrive within hours. Farmed in real soil, not flown from overseas. No middlemen, no weeks in a warehouse.
Farming for the Future
We practice regenerative methods — cover cropping between seasons, composting to build living soil, and no-till cultivation for our perennial peonies.
