Tulips and peonies arranged for a wedding in Hastings, MN

Why Couples Choose Us

Hastings has quietly become one of the more interesting wedding destinations in the south metro — a cluster of farm and barn venues, river bluff scenery, and a handful of historic downtown spaces. We are about thirty minutes east of our Eagan farm, an easy delivery run.

Roughly 80 percent of cut flowers used in U.S. weddings are imported — flown in from Colombia, Ecuador, or Holland, refrigerated for a week, and trucked to your venue. Ours grow on a farm fifteen miles from your reception. The difference shows up in stem strength, color saturation, and how the bouquet holds together through a long wedding day.

Hastings Wedding Venues We Serve

A few of the venues we’ve worked with or regularly deliver to in the Hastings area:

  • Hope Glen Farm
Restored heritage farm with a barn ceremony space and rolling pastures.
  • The Sanctuary at Stone Mill
Historic mill venue along the Vermillion River.
  • LeDuc Historic Estate
Gothic Revival mansion and grounds for intimate weddings.
  • Vermillion Falls Park
Outdoor ceremony location with the falls as backdrop.
  • Spiral Brewery
Microbrewery taproom for casual rehearsal dinners and small receptions.

Don’t see your venue? We deliver to virtually any Hastings venue. Just ask.

Seasonal Availability

Hastings wedding season runs May through October. The barn and farm aesthetic that dominates Hastings venues pairs beautifully with peonies (late May–June) and dahlias (July–September). For a barn wedding in May or early June, peonies are the obvious choice — we grow Karl Rosenfield, Sarah Bernhardt, Duchesse de Nemours, plus a limited Coral Charm and Coral Sunset collection.

What We Grow for Weddings

Tulips — March through May. Garden mix bunches with singles, doubles (peony-style), parrots, fringed, and lily-flowering varieties. Premium colors, strong stems, dramatic photography.

Peonies — late May through June. Our heirloom varieties: Sarah Bernhardt (soft pink), Karl Rosenfield (deep red), Duchesse de Nemours (white), plus a limited Coral Charm and Coral Sunset collection.
